Well that's interesting...yeah, I won't leave it there forever because it could technically be good enough to sell. but I guess you'll let me know if you think that's a possibility. thx :)

Sounds really good! About the only thing I can thik that you might need to check on is the bit from the original (well cover :P) that you use at 2:17 sounds like it came from a low quality MP3, you might wanna look for a 320k or a FLAC version for the bits.

Also, there's already been a psy version of the MM version of Tainted Love, by Bulletproof I think (It's on one of Clown's mixes), but this one's still really good! I'd deffinitley play it out if I'd play psy, and on the rare occasion where I play some hard acid/electro/breaks, I think it would deffinitley get squeezed in.
I'm feeling craptacular right now..

excellent. I've been looking for a good version of it the MM version... when I get it, I can always just switch in the better sample.
either way, this has yet to be EQ'd or even mastered properly so it should sound much much better when it's released. I appreciate your feedback a lot and let's just say I owe you one now :)
The bulletproof track was really good, and one day I was playing around with some basslines and decided that the tainted love melody was just too cool, then a couple synths fit right in and I couldn't resist... this song has been remixed so many times, and now I know why. :P
anyway, thx again

Kinda, not really for producing, more for beatmatching bits of tunes to remix and making mixes with.. I can't stand the piano roll :P

thx Rawali! I appreciate it! :D

Deadfunk: the actual frequency of the audio file is very very low. Although it needs to be normalized, there are some issues that I still need to seriously EQ out, I don't have the proper VST's installed to do that though, my friend does, so that will be done likely after the holiday season, at which point I may try to sell it. I don'n know if I am going to have any copyright issues with Marilyn Manson though...
anyone here ever sold a remix before?

white label... under 2000 copies shouldn't cause too many problems...
selling it on the net to cdj trance losers could get you trouble (if you get caught).

personally some of those sci leads annoy me...

but to each his own right...

my only constructive crisism would be that it sounds kinda weird when the vocal kicks in...

but personally i think john b murdered this track harder than anybody... including marilyn manson.
I'm feeling warm unicorn jizz right now..

yeah the kind of sci lead, is a sound that really sound like the basic 3xosc presets in fruity loops
wich should never be used under any circumstances scince it come with the program ...
but maybe its completely another thing but its sounds really the same

and i dont know much about psy in general like i said... but the structure seems wierd
not "techno-ish" enough, i dont know if it would make good mixes
but maybe psy is all made like that
I'm feeling the bass right now..

add a bit of a vocal teases in your intro.
filter and stutter.
otherwise it feels like "a Jehova's witness just tried to jump you to sell some faith" kinda weird.
I'm feeling cracktastic right now..

the sci lead kinda feels like going through a car wash.

really really fix those high ends on the manson sample....it could take a good sounding track and make it stellar. maybe make it go on a bit longer before the next break? it felt kind of empty after the sample is taken out. Some serious work on the high ends of the sample, maybe a bit of flanging as well and you'll have a really great track. Did I mention that you should do something to the high ends of that manson sample? I notice that you used the samples in two different segments, and it sort of breaks up the track instead of making a remix that highlights the original song, gives credo to it's producer and takes your talent adding to the original production. I think more work with the original sample is key here.

on a purely artistic level, I would make the melodic bits at the start and end more thematic, and bring them into more of the song to soften the transitional elements. Kind of like how a uni student uses big words and run on sentences to fluff up their essay :D

Thanks for the song, i'm sure many dj's would love to add this track to their psytrance arsenal.
I'm feeling phuk'n gruuvin right now..

Yeah it's a pretty good track man, just I think the sample really takes away from it. Call Manson up and ask for a cooler sample :P

joking aside it's a pretty pimp remix
I'm feeling like i hit a bus right now..
