i've started playing with battery recently and its prety straight forward but is there a way i can add effects that can easily be turned on and off... like stutter, roll, hold and delays and stuff?
I'm feeling warm unicorn jizz right now..

well here's my experience with battery. It a resources hog, but it does produce some great sounds. I don't know what sequencer you are using, or if you are using it as a standalone, but what I've found works best is rendering a sound from battery to audio and then loading that into a different drum kit such as impulse for live - after you do that you can drag in what ever effects you want.
