Anyone Tried One Of Those Mp3 Dj Consoles??

Coolness: 70010	hello some friend talked to me about the Hercule DJ Console and it looks great and not too expensive for having fun trying to mix would be cheaper cuz i wouldn't have to buy CDJs or any Vinyls + mixer and wirings and bla bla [ dj.playback.fr ] anyone ever worked with this kinda console? pros and cons? im a beginner would it be okay to start playing? i saw this model on ebay too not to expensive [ www.behringer.com ] and last question.. is there anyone wanting to get rid of a console like this??or a cheap set of cdjs (maybe this just not exist) i dont wanna spend big money on that thanks!! can reply in pm too! Coolness: 509510	mp3's should never be played at any serious party. you would be better off learning to mix vinyl, then cdj, then mp3, otherwise you are basically dooming yourself to sucking at mixing in general. imho

Coolness: 685540	MP3 and CD mixing is pretty much the same thing.. Even if your getting 320s off beatport the sound is compressed somewhat and not as proper or clean as it would be on a "real" cd or vinyl. Mixing MP3s with software or burned onto a CD with CDJs comes out to the same thing.

Coolness: 83825	for those who don't know.... if you use a computer to mix mp3's... for god sakes please buy a high end sound card with a decent d/a converter... cuz 99.9% of laptop dj's sound like complete shit. and since when is buying a controller, a laptop , a high end sound card and a mixer cheaper than buying turntables or cdj's? thats sounds like alot of money to me... especially if your gunna wanna upgrade down the road.

Coolness: 164750	i have the Hercules soundcard+mp3mixing interface anyways i have this plus an external mixer cause de fader even with good asio drivers isnt quick enuf for heavy cutting when mixing. so yeah the HERCULES + a MIXER is really great i can mix any mp3 ! tho im getting tired of the play/cue buttons ! they are in some kind of rubber and i dunno i just dont like them ! but overall it works great and its way cheaper than buying a shitload of vinyl! plus you can mix your own track right after your render !

Coolness: 70010	thanks for all the answers guys !! i dont aim at a pro career ... only want to mess with some Djing stuff for fun ! got a new job and will be making some good bucks so i think ill make myself a christmas gift with a set of CDJs and a mixer then if i dont really use them ill find a way to sell em back to someone ! :) is anyone having a kit to sell ?
