Hey, because this is my first winter in montreal, i need to stock up or i'll freeze my ass off... big ass jacket (or two), gloves, hats, scarves, long johns, boots, thick socks... i need to get them all...

can anyone tell me the best place to get them?, particularly the jacket and boots because they're going to cost the most...

any advice appreciated

cheers

Check around for gear on Chabanelle street, ask Murdock where it's at.. Look around everywhere before settling on something, but it's the best place to go for prices. Pull out your cash before they start ringing it up or just "mention" that you're paying cash and most of the time you'll get it cheaper and no tax.
I'm feeling fat and sassy right now..

bro check out some of the used clothing stores or some of the charity clothing places like goodwill or value village, Screw is right about the cash = - tax, happy shopping.

ok.... what you need is thermal undewear....go to ports expert and get this stuff call liffa...cost about $40 or so for the top and $40 for the bottom...this is a wicking system...you will not sweat in them & stay freaking warm
once you have your first lair done u can wear light, but warm cloths
