Audio Production School

 Coolness: 73095 | I've decided to save up and enroll in the audio production program at my school (Vanier), and seariously try to puruse a career in this field.
Does anybody have any information on these schools, and on the careers that fallow them. Anybody go threw them have any information to offer. Thanks in adavance. |

 Coolness: 201235 | I think they are kind of a waste of money, but I know the vanier program is less expensive than the other ones (I think)..

 Coolness: 40880 | I've heard a lot of negative reviews of Vanier actually, a lot of people graduated un satisfied. I've only heard negative reviews actually. Hmm...
There are a lot of really good smaller schools in the 10,000 range you might want to look into, smaller classes and higher quality studios. I went to Recording Arts Canada in Old Montreal and had a very good time, they have par studios (high quality macs in all three of their studios, and a Mackie DB8 as well as Yamaha O2 so you get all the standard studio mixers to work on).
