Dunno if anyone else has tried it, but after playing around with it for a few hours.....

it's crap. the icons make my eyes hurt cause you have to stare at them to figure out what it's supposed to be.. and it's so damned difficult to get simple things done.. which is insane considering it's almost identical to XP, just with more stuff getting in the way. Methinks i'm gonna format the drive now and put XP back on..
I'm feeling beersex.net right now..

I'm done with windows... I'll keep using XP for the software I use now, and my next computer will be from Apple unless linux happens to catch up in content creation.

Yeah but apple gear is expensive. I'd need either a macbook pro or a mac pro, their other systems are not good enough for me. If linux got some good audio software I could run that on a computer that costs 5x less.

no it won't... if anything a PC would last longer cause you can easily replace the parts and mix and match. I never even had a PC part die on me except for a power supply and those are cheap and the wattage was too low so serves me right.

Actually, the macbook pro's have been having a problem with unreliability.. The heatsink expands too much, touches a wire, and shorts out. There's also the problem with them exploding and catching fire, but HP laptops are having the same problem.
I'm feeling confused right now..
