the technics are GARBAGE and have really bad reviews cuz they sound like digital crap... but you don't have to take my word for it... register and download this video that tests the techs, pioneers and the denon... [ www.djresource.eu ] well worth taking the time to register if you are serious about this purchase. |

who says gemini can't do the same thing? the technology behind gemini's previous turntables was "cock blocked" by a 20 year patent that kept technics ahead of the game... this patent is now expired and anyone can manufacter quality decks. i'm not saying that the gemini hybrid is a good product either... but i personaly don't want to knock it untill i've tried it out for myself. |

| Coolness: 32665 | I know for the patent but gemini don't have the experience of technics ... I have play with the numark and the technics ... and i love the two cd players ... with a preference for the numark because their is a real 12 inch on it ...
I don't have test the gemini for the moment but i want to try before saying bullshit ... but my opinion is simple Gemini is a cloner of the best technology that you can buy (like technis or other) maybe they are great but i doubt :-p |

| Coolness: 685585 | Haven't tried it, but I'd seen some demo videos of it and it seemed pretty decent. Sounded way better than the technics one that's for damn sure. The rotating plater also seemed kinda cool. |

i've only played with it in the store but the word is that its just as good as the pioneer but some of the advanced functions are a little too complicated to be convienient. like some of the stuff that the pioneer does with one button... you gotta press 2 on the denons kinda thing... theres wierd submenus and shit... but everything on em is quality and the platter is badass. |
