First I have to thank Deyond (AKA Dr. Bass) for being there.. His expertise made the system at Fractal sound better then it ever has before.. DJ skills and atmosphere are important.. but good sound is half of the party. If it weren't for him, it wouldn't have sounded half as good... Thanks to the breaks warriaz crew from QC who made it all the way down here to rock the party.. BIG thank you to Ani and Melodie for all the hard work they did making this thing as big as it was.. Another MASSIV shout-out to Murdock, Pinky38, and Spacekadet.. Local DJs throwing down some of the biggest beats around! Thank you to Stephane @ Fractal for a killer space. Can't wait to see all the photos, and the video! See you all next time. ;) |

Great set from Kai and Somsay who got that place nice and warmed up... As for the Hooligan, what can I say, he was on point all night...I loved every single track...From the booty to the rock breaks...he covered so many bases...I even heard a little dnb and breaky techno thrown in for good measure...never boring and never redundant...and seeing him with Pinky ripping up the decks with the scratching was beautiful! They all had the girls going nuts and I've haven't seen so many hot women at a breaks party like that in ages... So Big up the Kings of Mtl Breaks, you guys never dissapoint! |

break warriaz were OFF THE HOOK!!! kai's visual were fuckin' AMAZING!!! reggie killed the fuckin' mic and it was like someone poured itching powder all over the dj booth cuz nobody could stop SCRATCHING!!! and that shit when atomic hooligan would lift the cdj and start beating on the start/stop buttons??? THATS WAS FUCKED UP SHIT RIGHT THERE!!! BADASS!!! respect to steph at fractal for letting us use the space, big ups to kai and somsay for putting it all together... and ULTRA big ups to deyond for the last minute "band-aid repair" on that ghetto ass system. HOOLIGANS PERFORMANCE WAS ONE OF THE BEST I'VE EVER SEEN!! RESPEK!! |
