It doesn't matter if no one would use it. it's the fact that IE is so poorly weiten that it crashes when it encounters such a simplistic problem. What it SHOULD do is handle it properly and reject the code instead of doing a forced exit.

it should but it's a new and temporary bug and for the firefox crashes above I can say the same thing. You're just bias against IE. I like my IE(*waits for bullet*).

even if it was always there if you tell them about it I'm sure they'll fix it liek all the other bugs.

you wanna believe that Microsoft is a bunch of idiots but they're really not, they actually do have really good programmers.

Fix them like all the other bugs?! microsoft knows of tons of bugs that they don't fix. the only ones they jump on are critical bugs that cause for insecurities, i can bet you that this bug still exists in IE7 and wont be gone for some time.

Also, i never said microsoft's programmers are idiots, but i will say that their management is absolutely terrible. Don't believe me? It's taken them 5 years to make Vista, where is it? Still not out yet, and what will be released is trash that no one is jumping up and down to get their hands on.
