solid, solid, crossman was killin it..
complaints: -the sound was bad for DJs, shitty monitor, adversely affected kiffah and dysklo's mixing -the lighting was a little wack for my tastes, way too bright kudos: -wicked to hear good beats in a fresh venue i've never been to -amazing vibe, lotsa good people, only the true heads were in the place, everyone that was there was ready for good times, knew their music, and was reppin it. -sound system on the floor was banging -they have pints o' beer. boya! -cool spots to chill, burn heads and such so random has landed succesfully, big ups to craig and all the breaks heads, roight toight party s |

It was a fun night :) Lucky for me, Kai took most of the pictures that night which gave me a chance to dance !..I couldn't beleive I still had energy after dancing to Planet Break the night before... |

Wikkid, more pics Lunna.
Alright the review: Gotta love your montrealers, like clockwork 12:30 in they came., which is a bit of a shame, cuz Dialect rocked things proper, and threw down a couple of dope ass dubs, as only Dirty Dialect can do. 11:30 - 12;30 on comes the BInd to warm the advancing masses, with a selection of dancefloor breaks,to get the female posteriors bouncin, and kick start the dancefloor. By this time there was enough people in the place, but just linin the walls. 12:30 - 1:40 - OMG welcome home Dysklo. good time EZ Bake tag with Kiffah, dark heavy progressive beats, that quite honestly couldn't have been a better lead in for the General!. BY the end of this set MOntrealers didn't let me down, there was suddenly that full dancfloor, bumpin proper, and up steps Mr Crossman. For the next two hours Montrealers bore witness to a living legend, who dropped dope track after dope track, dub after dub, roll it up broke it down, and smashed it up some more! I was AMAZED. So many tru heads in the crowd, and so many new faces. I love the colloborative method, truly brings out more and more people to help the scene grow and develop into somethin bigger and better. And big props to Celinecelines, what an amazingly eclectic mix of Japanese Porn, Bollywood dancers, and PassePartout, a definite plus that will be back for another party. Random 002 coming soon, at another random site, with another random broken guest, stay tuned at [ www.slingshotcrew.com. ] Peace to all that attended, next time more peeps to warm the dancefloor. |
