| thats a pretty nice pice of art man..
as for the Record, of course you could steal and metabolize an image from somewhere... but this shouldnt be too hard... i'd say subtle greyscale gradient for the glow, noise then WIND for the tracks (if subtle, bit of fuzz on a gradient is all you need for the human imagination to imagine microscopic circle lines there, i mean this is hypothetical cuz i didnt do it, but i think it'd work alright if you empasize the round between-track lines), and the middle would be easy..shit you dont even need a middle cuz proportionally its all covered :) |

| yeah, my main problem is the circular bit.. it hard to do, cause photoshop's selection contract is shoddy if you do it too many times.. you end up with a quare edged circle :P which doesn't look right.. |

| totally know what you mean, had to hand-draw (pixelate :)) the rounded corner transparent GIFs for my design templates.. :)
you only need guides for each between the track line, then select the circle each time from scratch, it'll snap onto the guides... and you can make them perfectly fitting with the rulers.. |
