it's ground kola nut... hehe the kola is a plant/tree which yields nuts, that are (or at least "were") used in "cola flavourings", such as coke, sweets, syrups, ... this nut contains caffeine and several things i don't know, but it can be crushed into powder and then mixed into anything edible (i use mere water). some smartshops in amsterdam sell it (and that's where i bought mine !) as for the effects, they're quite mild (but everything depends on the dosage, like with everything). kola extract is used in homeopathy, for example, as a global vitalizer... helps having a better stamina. i usually take 2-3 spoons mixed in water (it's not really tasting good but i don't mind), and i've got lots of energy for hours (nothing to be compared with speed), and over 3 spoons i have inner rushing feelings (like huge brain accelerations) and trippy visions&hearings. i like it mixed with alcohol&thc, the whole thing is quite similar to a low mushroom take :) |
