Computer Problem

 Coolness: 126770 | half the time when i turn on my computer it doesn't boot up anymore
there's just a little dot that blinks in the corner of the screen or not even doesn't boot up until we restart it a second time or third anyone know the fix to this? |

 Coolness: 146325 | i'd begin to check if there isn't any floppy/cd/dvd in your computer, even if this sounds obvious.
then maybe you should check the plugs of your harddisk containing your os (power supply & data wire) ; or check your bios settings if you know what you're doing there. if it still doesn't work, what os are you using ? windows ? which version ? |

 Coolness: 92265 | hmm... I've had problems booting windows because of boot sequence a few times, but if that the case it would/should give you an error message. By default floopy disk is usually set as the primary boot-up device. Most people don't have floppy disks and it's not normally a problem but it will work fine that way until one day it seemingly randomly decides it doesn't like that anymore, in which case, you'd have to go into bios and change the primary boot device to something you actually have and then if you wanted you can even change it back and it would normally still even work fine that way, but there's no point. |

| Coolness: 146325 | it might be a power-supply problem ; do you know the power of your power-supply block ? 300 Watts ? 350 ? 400 ? If you have 300 W at most and use several PCI or USB devices, it could be the problem... try to unplug some USB devices then, and watch the result.
of course, check all your connections, especially the one for the new fan (and the others around it) the problem doesn't seem to come from your os. |
