The show was siiiiick. For me, nothing will ever top his live show with Reprazent in March 2001, but this was definetly up there. Even better than when I saw him in Toronto in 2003.

The remixes were incredible. The MCing was good for the most part, though it kinda got weak towards the end. Still, I didn't mind it.

Seriously, great fuckin' show. It's been a while since I rocked out to some serious drum n bass in Montreal. I needed it. Hardsteppers did a great job.

thanks amanda. I wasn't there and I cannot judge by myself. But one of the musicians that I respect the most on this planet was there and he told me the mc ruined everything so I will stand by him and say that he sucked. Sorry Sase and Reggie. I still think you guys are awesome. specially Sase cuz i barely know reggie.

I was near-braindead from the week before and hopped up on multiple wakeup pillz, but man did this show ever rock. Couldnt stop dancing. Big to all the oldskoolers in the place. Considering I cant remember half the night except the maaaad beats, my apologies to anyone who I may have acted retarded around :)

a newbie perspective - this was my roommate's first DnB show, she was into alternative rock before, and she loved it and wants to go to more jungalist events now. w3rrrrd.

Not being a particular D&B lover, a friend of mine convinced me to go with her. I agreed despite not quite feeling like it.

A decision I will never forget. If I didn't consider myself a junglist before, I'm fully converted now. Holy fucking shit did the whole night rocked. I don't recall dancing so much in one night.

A big up, way up, to the MTL krew Stabba, Sase One, Hardstepper & Galaksy. ALL of these DJs raised the motherfucking roof. I do mean all of them. As much as I could try to find anything bad about this event, I couldn't.

The only thing that annoyed me was the rear left sound column which horribly clipped. Considering the nature of the music played ( Drum & BASS ), I don't find this the least bit suprizing.

And Roni Size...well...he just procedded to rip the place apart. No doubt.

It was just pure bass-driven insanity through and through.

The stuff I took that night normally doesn't allow me to move a muscle...yet I stayed on the dancefloor all night, dancing like possessed mofo.

To sum up my night, I would call it " The exorcism of Pixelized ". A cool crisp 9.75/10 ( it didn't get a 10 because of sound problems and Size's opening and constant rewinding when we just wanted him to drop the bass ).

Great job to everyone involved in this, organizers, DJs, MCs, etc.

i was a nonstop dancing machine! for hours! my first time at Aria, the soundsystem was wikkid, BASSSSSSSSSSSSS

i liked how he played lots of old stuff, ha d a good variety, and played lots of jump-up, i love it, but that;s what some poeple were complaining about..

anywyas, wikkid night

Sase rocked it too!

the fucking mixer fell on the ground at one point....

the energy was immense when i stepped onto the dancefloor and quickly infected my soul
i think the drum and bass nights at aria have some of the best moments in partying always
this one didn't disapoint me one bit

if this sort of think happened more often it could easily bring back alot of born-again junglists and remind the die-hards how far this jungle thing can be at the highest degree

got my grill on and did some furious dancing
dropping elbows and sync'in up some jumps-into-flying-punch-stomp-kick-twirl-mosh

but i realised that my stance and footing has been getting weak cause i simply haven't heard music and been in an atmosphere that's given the urge to rage...
not that i've making the most serious efforts lately

the adrenaline kept me going through the day at 9am going to work and back home until...
two days later
my left kneecap hurts like hell, my right hand is swollen from making a fist and spine stiff from serious body jerking

those fruitcakes with the glowsticks on the stage should have fell on their heads instead of the mixer

massive props to everyone involved
although very uninvolved and more of a "taker" in the scene...

My souljah baptism was at that party. I will never doubt the power of D&B ever again.

And I agree with Soyfunk : what the fuck did people bring glowsticks for at a D&B event for ? Retards.

hell that was fun

so many people, i'd say over 600 ....never saw that many peeps out @ a drum&bass jam ...
well for the godfather himself ....
Roni fuckin Size !

dude mixed in a really intuitive way i found, not so very technical as much as purely agressive, very well down from the master ..
played some heavy uk clownstep , loads of Full Cycle, some ragga-flavors, and almost a whole hour of education ; playing the history of jungle-drum&bass in a megamix ...
i never was a huge Roni Size fan, thought in front of a legend of the genre, one can only bow down in respect

Hardsteppers rocked it big time afterwards, Sase One was on fire @ the decks and Reggie and Kali did a wicked job on the mic, proper, reasonable, and clean, those voices sounded great out there

had a wicked time playing for almost 2 hours in the end for the hardcore ones, played *trancey* in the end, havent played those tunes for almost 2 years ...

soundsystem sounded really well, setup's a professional one @ ARIA, classy ! except for this needle that skipped like 3 times right in the middle of mixes .,...but shit happens ...thats vinyls ...:lol

great to see everyone out, lots of smiles, good vibes inside, a few twitched-out regulars but thats part of the game, drum&bass in Aria's main room seemed like something common, big massive dancefloor and all that, as if drum&bass was around all the time ...

more of that , bring Pendulum now !
