Keeping it short: 50/50 in "hardcore" parties would be great. But you've gotta make it "seem" that both styles are equal in the party - that's where it gets tricky.

I did not find something really "amazing" in Human blood and Kanibalz.

Hardcore and Happy Hardcore are two style with two different minds, and I'm not very agree with the union of those in the same rave. I don't want to pay 20$ to see only 50% of the line-up ' cause if I want a Hardcore party, I don't wanna know anything about Happy Hardcore.

The best solution is like Biological project : Two rooms, and I want to see everything

how can anyone attend a 100% happy hardcore party is beyond me. Or a 100% hardcore (yet more tolerable). But to each his own so i suggest: make sure you dont see too big, possibly ppl tried to do it before but couldnt get enough ppl and figured mixing genres would bring 2 crowds therefor twice as many people (flawed logic but i've heard it used before)

2-types of crowds, eh?

How about Happy Hardcore (aka: The best music ever!) in one room, then Jungle in the other!!
Then at about 3am, switch the the HHC room with the DnB room and see what happens!

...Pandemonium, that's what!

Well that's what I liked about Human Blood (I was at 4), the fact that there was a happy room and just a hardcore room. I could go and dance when I wanted and depending on who was playing because the two genres are fun. Then again not everyone has the exact same tastes as me and I could see where that arrangement fucks up.

Shit, that post didn't contribute much, now did it?

What I dislike of partys nowadays is trying to play 6 styles in the same room in the same night. 2 separate rooms is already a step in the right direction. But being of the old school and having withnessed raves which had techno/trance in one room and HIP HOP in the next, I don't see why this wouldn't work.

They both stem from the same source ( want it or not ).

Besides, just look at any given afterhours club : they all have a main room and a hip hop room. These rooms rarely mix but that doesn't stop them from having a high attendance every week. In both room.

So HC / HHC peeps won't probably mix but who cares ? I know I like both. Most people who'll attend probably do. I guess if you like only one of these styles, you should wait for a full-fledged party of your style of choice.

And anyone who ends up at this kind of party wanting to hear psytrance should learn how to read flyers anyway.

Now he up above put exactly what I was thinking into words. Makes me look stupid as fuck, but yeah, what he said (minus the old school bit since I haven't been in this scene all that long).
