Praying Mantis Eats Hummingbird!

 Coolness: 685715 | Praying mantis catches and eats hummingbird
As you can see from the photographs this hungry mantis captured and killed a hummingbird not much smaller than itself. The hummer measured 2 inches and the mantis was about the same! |

 Coolness: 102890 | That's a bitchin Mantis. When i was a kid, i made these "gladiator" matches between a Praying Mantis and spiders in a flower pot. Mantis would just chew them up and throw away the legs.

I used to fill a jar a qauter of the way with dirt, and fill it up with every bug I could find; wether it was ants, spiders, centipedes, flys, roaches, beetles whatever, you name it! That shit was fucking entertaining! |
