kas has been sending me e-mails and i've been wanting to check it out for awhile. it sounds decent... but i've been hesitating because i really have no idea what to expect... i was under the impression that this is an electro night? but dave posted some mix of some featured dj and it was downtempo breaks... super chill shit that was great to listen to at work but not really the kinda thing i'd wanna hear on a dancefloor. this confused me... and now i don't even know what kinda beats are up in that house? a friday electro night sounds like hot shit. but i don't wanna get there to find a buncha gino's listening to downtempo house music while smoking cigars with no dance floor. so ya... can someone please give me the lowdown? and if it is an electro night i'd love to pass you guys a c.d. even as i play lotsa electro when im not rockin' out the breaks. MASSIVE RESPEK!! jus' need a lil feedback? |

That mix by Moonstar was nice, but he played more electro last week. Here is tha lowdown on Bounce Action: !st off we play all forms techno, house and electro. With more emphasis on the electro and house. Deliz and myself play a hybrid style mixing it all up. Deliz with a little more of a dark electro (rother type) sound, like the cd I gave you. I play a little more breaky with some hiphop lyrics. Max Myles plays more housey, not cheesy though, underground. Phanteek is only with us for two more weeks before he goes to Brussles, but he like3s da Ghettotech and booty. Next: The place is really fuckin cool looking. Mirrors and velvet on the walls and cieling and a bunch of intamite little booths. Here is the last description I wrote up for Ravewave. Nestled in the Old Port at the super swank club Utopia, Bounce Action is a fresh new Friday night offering up underground electronic party music in a warm and comfortable setting. With it’s slick 60’s Gangster style décor, intamite booths, great sound and super firendly staff, Utopia is truly as unique spot. This Friday the 27th will feature resident djs Deliz, Dave O’Brien, Max Miles and Phranteek spinning all kinds of underground electronic music aimed at the dance floor. |
