| Coolness: 55480 | how is it self promotion when people vote you in? i was pretty shocked when i read it this morning. i don't even know why the media pays attention to hardcore and hard trance parties. please keep your sour grapes out of this thread, i am trying to show our gratitude to all the people who voted for us completely out of the blue. The fact that a hardcore and hard trance party is mentioned in the media alongside cream and celebration shows that our scene is getting stronger and helps all promoters of non-mainstream genres in this city, like hardcore and psytrance and industrial. Please respect that.

Besides, if YOU won't promote for yourself, who will? And the Top 3 are bollocks for the sheep who can't tell their ear from their arsehole but got $100 to spend. Cream deserves to be carpet bombed or sprayed with anthrax. Good work! The whole HAF series has some great promotion going on, and they bring a quality night out. Props. But techno isn't music. Its a symptom of excessive drug use. :P |

 Coolness: 90300 | Yeah, this is pretty out of the blue, I'm pretty happy and surprised. The only events that beat us were big mega-events with several thousand people, so to make it onto the list with an event consisting mainly of underground rave music is pretty awesome. Thanks to everyone who voted! It's somewhat too bad we didn't think to tell people 'hey vote for us' so we could be even higher in the list, but in the end it's actually WAY COOLER that we got 5th without even knowing this was going on!
