if you are an undergrad come out and vote this is where your student fees go you have a stake no matter what faculty yo study in ********** and now at the risk of editorializing EVOLUTION BURN IN HELL conservative fucks like them don't give a fuck about anything except their own power and interest so fuck them. CSU Evolution has not represented the student body for over two, they seek to extend this to a third, this cannot be allowed i personally am very unhappy with what we have received for our money Evolution excutives consistently point out that things are better because we have not had rioting in 2 and half years, they say things are better because we no longer have disagreements about issues like globalization and the palestinian & israely conflict, they say concordia is safer and we are more free because of it, i feel concordia is less interesting and i feel more confined. if the factory belongs to those who work in it then the university belongs to those who study in it. i am ashamed to call myself a concordia student because of CSU Evolution behavior durring the last few weeks of the student strike in montreal, if any gains are made through the actions of the many currently striking students in the french universities and cegeps, then it will be because they held firm and not because of any aid from likes of concordia or mcgill students, the relationship of CSU Evolution with administration of the university and other interest groups is to say the least somewhat unsettling, it seems far to comfortable to bend and cave to the university adminstrations agenda and desires currently many stories circulate about corruption and CSU tampering with budgets and diverting funds to their special interest groups (clubs that favor them) At this time and date i don't want to comment on that, all i think that needs to be said is that we await the judgment of accountents and lawers. If everything is on the level then CSU Evolution has nothing to worry about, if not however though we are stoking some very hot fires that they will burn for them. i emplore everyone on this message board who is an undergrad student who can vote to come do so, vote for anybody else except evolution because they are liars and thievs and they don't care at all for you. if you don't know who to vote for, here are two suggestions 1) "conscious concordia" this is a party made up of people alot of you know like Taz, Mina, and Mel Ledo, those are all people you know, you know they are good people trust your gut they can do a better job than those people who do nothing from Evolution another alternative 2) "higher cause" a bunch of kidz from from the philo department, first try ever at running got to respect intiative... anyway thats my two sense on the whole thing plus some. cheers everyone |
