there were about 300-400 people, but then again i can't really remember.
the music was deeply amazing, the deco as well. you could tell people had been working hard to make the best out of it.
many were sober, which i thought was a great idea.
unfortunatly, there were some ravers that didn't know what goa was all about, high as a kite on speed, coke or meth.
as for me, these peeps ruin the vibe by being spirit-free.
pretty sad...

too many clubbers, right.
but too many preppy-ravers as well...
go back to your cheezy-trance and cheap speed parties.

Don't be elitist Catherine,if that wasn't of those clubbers and ravers, there wouldn't have been Wizzy Noise in because they couldn't afford it without lots of persons in.....Think about it...It's all love.Peace.

i'd prefer dancing to a less popular dj and having fun than watching retards ruin the vibe.

(i posted this on memf and i'm reposting it here cause i'm too lazy to write another)

ok where to start where to start? first off the location: level laval. in my opinion a crappy place to have a party. it just kind of felt like a regular club night. also the dimensions of the place are kinda fucked. the main room seemed too wide and not deep enough, placing people too far to the sides of the room. the raised dancefloor is cool though and made dancing around for 8 hours a lot easier. too bad it doesnt really redeem much. level seems like a pathetic attempt at copying stereo and i just couldnt get that outta my head all night.

next thing is the sound: it fuckin sucked SHIT. WAY WAY WAY too much bass and not enough highs and mids. this is psychedelic trance people!! it was like they didnt calibrate the level system for the type of music they were playing thru it. after hearing only the most persistent and roughest waveforms break thru the bass din, i realized that the level sound is set up for chuggy house and tech mostly, not goa and psy-trance, which deserves a lot of mid for all the crap going on synthwise. i enjoyed the music that was played, definetly, but it was a write off for me almost immediately. i dont know who was on when and for how long so in terms of wizzy noise i couldnt tell you if it was fat or not.

next is the party itself: SAFE you guys promised some shit and totally didnt deliver. fuckin weak. someone said in an earlier thread it was gonna look like a temple in there. it did not. the deco was sparse at best, with the same old fuckin tapestries on the wall and that was about it. decent lights but nothing mindblowing. they said it was gonna be the psychotrop of all psychotrops and they had a crew for the deco that was gonna be A-1. what a fuckin joke that was. i was under the imression that it was mainly fluodelik that organized the psychotrop events and when i saw SAFE everywhere i figured it was a management change that was responsible for the shoddy deco and unmet promises. too bad. also to SAFE and level promoters, cause it was obviously one of you guys, or both, that were running the door: get your shit together next time. ESPECIALLY in winter. no one likes to stand out in the cold waiting to get into a party in laval of all places while the door guys goof off right inside the entrance, visible to all the frozen party-goers waiting in line. i believe this was partly due to the crappy positioning of the coatcheck in relation to the incoming crowd and the party. once again fuck level. fuck them twice cause the sign out front is still in the level4 font.
despite all this bitching, it was a pretty good party, but it wasnt made good by anything tangible, that you could see, or touch. it was made good by the people who attended it and the vibe they brought with them. actually now that i think of it, the people in attendance provided better decor for the party the the promoters did. there were some funky candykids out there.
good but not very memorable. 5.5/10 .
