really interesting interview last night with this dude from the new yorker magazine, i think his name was samual hersch (sp?), anyway this has an article in the magazine this month about the secret plans of the bush administration to attack Iran, he says he has this information from insiders in the military/industrial complex. He seems to be saying that the united states may attempt a series of air strikes (against suspected uranium processing plants) perhaps as early as this summer, in the the hopes (at least this is how the bush people see it) of destabalizing the mullah regime. I don't know about you guys but this sounds like a very bad idea. If you attack a country they are going to back their government. No? I'd like to hear other peoples views on this.

They didn't anything when the US of A invaded Irak...and the UK i won't get reelected pm Blair supported Bush.
wonder what Russia and the sleeping dragon might of China will do.

on another note;

There's also battle for control of power between the U.S. Military and US Intelligence Agencies ( CIA ). They have different ways and views on how to pacify foreign threats.

The CIA way is covert, what they did in Haiti and most Latin America.
The Pentagon way is brute might, what they did in Irak.

edit: corrected covert

it is a very bad idea. If they don't do it now though they are eventually going to do it. it's a plot for domination. They're going to hit syria and jordan also
