The guys at Propellerhead Software in Sweden are soon finished with the beta version of Reason 3. Details on their beta-testing program are here.

Their music-softwares have taken home lots of awards, last by Reason 2.5 which won the award for "best soft-synth workstation" at Remix Technology Awards 2004.

The Reason-users have high hopes for this third version of the software. Rumours about the vst-possibilities and such have been spread on the net for a couple of months now.

Soon you can be among the first to try out the new version as Propellerhead is looking for Beta testers. If you're interested, then go to their homepage (below) and sign up now. You have to be a registered user of Reason 2.5 before signing up.

i downloaded it yesterday but trashed it cause i heard it quits after 20 minutes and i didn't want the trouble of re-installing 2.5 if something were to mess up.
The main thing i'm looking forward to is the new (much needed) mastering effects. there is no vst support, aside from using rewire, which isn't anything new. they do have this new module that saves presets for a series of devices.. if you have a specific synth with effects on it, it'll save it so you can load it instantly without having to copy/paste from past songs. Apparantly the new version is more versatile for live use.
sounds alright but i'm not going to bother dicking around with the beta version. i'll just wait till it comes out and steal it like usual.
