here's some more info guys, we like our details in o-town! lol!

In the spirit of Synesthesia '99 (Chris, Jess, and Scotty, wherever you are, you guys rock!), when the spirit of the ottawa scene seemed to really awaken, we seek to renew the awakening. In our continuing quest for total synesthesia, the concept for a yearly event on the day out of time was conceived. And so it got its name...

Here's the temporary infoline with basic information until the official FAK infoline becomes accessible (will be announced online and on old infoline)

(613) 860-GAIA (4242)

here's some of the links that didn't make it through hehe

the official Total Synesthesia/SSUN/FAK website which is currently undergoing major construction to be ready for the event.

[ blueplanet.homeip.net ]

a great interview containing information about the theme behind this event - (our events are always geared towards being more than just regular parties)
we have support from The Foundation for The Law of Time, and will be providing quite a bit of information about the 13 Moon Calendar and why we feel it's important.

Here are the numbers for the ticket outlets so you can call before you go to make sure the tickets are in! (Although we will announce when they become available as well)

Ottawa : One Unity Records : 207 Dalhousie, (613) 562-2462
Montreal : Psychonaut, 154 Prince-Arthur Est (514) 844-8898

This will be a two stage outdoor event - themed (this yearly event will always have the same theme) to promote awareness in the 13 Moon Calendar Change Peace Plan (a mission to promote global harmony and accord through synchronicity), and each stage will have its own subtheme, the Pyramid and the Sphere, two of the most sacred geometric figures.

The Psychedelic pyramid will feature a huge full range soundsystem and synchronized visuals! Styled as the hub of the pyramid the dancefloor will open out, lined with UV decor and lighting. In the event of rain the dancefloor will be 100% covered. Just before midnight a communique will take place honouring the onset of the Day out of Time, via spoken word over synced a/v!
This is kind of like the SSUN version of an Om circle (althought not quite at that scale!) so everyone is encouraged to show up before midnight and experience it!

The Breakbeat and Chillout sphere will be designed around a community fire circle and feature a quadraphonic soundsystem and visuals, as well as plenty of extra diversions... including live UV art installations, fire spinning and breathing, a meditation, and a big interactive jam session at the start of the night that everyone in encouraged to participate in! Our fruit, water and smart bar will also probably be located here.

Well thats about it! We're going to put everything we've got into this one so get ready for something else!

See you under the stars!!!
