i want to know if there is a slowdown in the Flash for some of you? (or maybe i unwittingly created a optic effect)

It slows down a little for me. But c'm on, why flash? Flash is just eye-candy for sites that have no content but want to look impressive. Spend more time on content rather than gimicks.

right...same old arguments vs flash

it is not going to be all Flash, i just slap that SWF up there for now. i know it's big; 800x400 for flash movie. It is only a temp patch.

Flash is fun... and interactive. Doing it for the candy kids. The site is really just a listing of old raves and their respective flyers and pictures (if any).

Just by the nature of the site, there isn't much content to work on. Some stuff is posted in the Old School thread in the general section. I can't possibly write about all the parties cuz i haven't been to every rave.

Even if i managed to track down people who went to the raves, djs who play there, and promoters to get their stories (more content)... they're likely to have forgotten the details.
