Around the 20th of this month a music producer I have worked with for almost 6 years is comming to visit Montreal. He is from Texas (lives about a 100 miles north of Mexico) and needs a good culture shock...

I already have plans for Foufs, Tamtams, and the party "school" which is that weekend lined up, but if anyone has some good suggestions for places to visit or is willing to show him around for a day let me know...

In case you are curious, this guy is a very liberally minded American who has a good knowlage of french, and has backpacked around Europe before...
He is also on a kind of tight budget... So what do you think is a must see for someone visiting for a week?

well, the look-out is a good place to get romantic, and judging by the tone of scotty's post, that's what he's looking for.

I took Derb from Hennes and Cold to a Belle Province and a Patio Vidale as well, he loved the insane greasyness!

Yea the look out is really nice.. and theres a little forest across the street behind it, and a little park down the stairs infront of the look out. At night is the best though.. you cant even see the river except for the reflection of the moon on it ( if its the right time).

And the old port for sure.. that place is sooooo nice. You should bike around and then go to the casino. Even if you dont gamble and stuff you can see the race track and rollerblade on it and theres all these nice gardens.
