Week Of Binge Drug Use: The Aftermath

 Coolness: 91890 | I had one week with no school obligations, a package of untested drugs, and the knowledge that I wouldn't have much oppurtunity after this to experiment. All this led to a week of quite intense drug use, by far the most profound experience being the 5-meO-DMT. As best as I can remember, my week of binge psychedelic use progressed as follows:
Monday: a few bumps of ketamine, 620mg of DXM Tuesday: 1 N20 balloon, 1/2 an E + 10mg 5-meo-DMT Wednesday: 3g mushrooms + 3 N2O balloons Thursday: salvia (10x extract), 100mg IM ketamine Friday: 2c-i + 1/2 an E + a bump of ketamine Saturday: 1/2 a speed + 1 N2O balloon + MDA Sunday I intended on IM'ing a combo of ketamine and DPT, but my nerves were too shaky and I ended up spilling the solution before I could inject it. Instantly, I interpreted this event as a sign that I had already pushed myself far enough, and that this combination would have to wait another few years. Since then, I've been sober except for 1g of mushrooms that I did with my mom, her first psychedelic experience! Anyways, here are the effects I've noticed: Psysical Nothing much, aside from a feeling of being slightly drained / exhausted. But this isn't too suprising given my lack of sleep during this time, not to mention the stress of exams that finished just before. Psychological The two days after the DMT experience were a bit distressing, as I was a overwhelmed and pre-occupied by the intensity of the experience, and a bit worrried about the flashbacks I was experiencing. Once the flashbacks subsided, I felt much more comfortable and positive about the experience, a feeling which has remained. Now I am reading more into mystical and near death experiencess, which is helping me to integrate back to consensus reality. One enduring change, however, is that my consciousness is in a permanent, semi-expanded state. I feel like my being has grown to encompass more than just my body, and that I exist simulataneously in a physical realm and in a non-physical / spiritual dimension. I'm quite pleased with this effect on my consciousness, and I interpret it as reaching a higher spiritual plane of being. Finally, one of the most interesting and suprising effects I've noticed, is a reverse tolerance (increased sensitivity) to psychedelics. Just off 1g of mush, I was able to experience quite amazing visuals and shifts in consciousness at will. Also, stronger trips tend to bring back memories and sensations characteristic of my DMT experience. All in all, I'm quite pleased with what I was able to accomplish in this week, though I realize its time to take a break and allow my mind to settle. Which is perfect because I'll be spending the next few weeks split between seeing my family in Israel and exploring Egypt's Sinai peninsula. Take care everyone and have an awesome summer! |
