imo Miami Bass was the style popularized by arthur baker (father of the 808) n then mainstreamized by 2 live crew.. through the years and changing influences booty has become the modern equivalent. miami bass is to booty as trance is to psy-tek. or something. or as jungle is to DnB. if that makes any sense.

Jasmine (miami bass, breaks, jungle, dubstep, garagey, maybe booty?) 1-2am: KIlla Jewel vs. DJ Rue 2-3am Lynne T VS. Cyan (electro, techno, tech-house, dirty detroit house.......)
