WESTERLY'S STUDENTS TREATED LIKE PRISONERS
To the Editor of The Day:
Major kudos to Ned Pocengal for his outstanding April 4 letter, "Police,
school send wrong message."
In addition to the body cavity searches, perhaps the schools should install
iron bars on all the windows and razor wire on all the fences. Of course,
hidden cameras should be installed in all the public places like hallways
and restrooms.
That's what they do in our high-security prisons. We all know that illegal
drugs never get into any of our jails or prisons.
