| I have begun a project with a few people to help bring upnderground art to the masses. Locating artists is not the problem, nor the work we dedicate to the project, the problem is that we need some help building our website.
Does anyone have any desire to actually get seriously involved with us in creating a website as beautiful and innovative as the art that will be featured?

| its art that deserves to be seen by everyone. It's current state is underground and unviewed by anyone, but hopefully these artists will get the recognition they deserve. |

Variety boy. Not every art website has the same manifesto. And i know enough artists from when i was in fine arts / creative arts to do this, so why not. Would you not rather have a community you know, then just a bunch of random people? You are more comfortable with your work being exposed to strangers. Well thats what i think, i really dont care if you agree or not.
anyways this thread isnt about why im doing it, but about me needing help. |

| true enough, thus why i need more help concerning man power. But i have the time and dedication to get it done. What i dont have is the ability to construct web pages...thus my thread. Now unless you'd like to help out with the project, you are just being negative for no reason. if there is a will there is a way. |

| Creating an art submissions site is a big undertaking if you want it done right, and I don't know anyone here who would do it free of charge.
Also, hosting your site, should your website have lots of art or become very busy will also cost you. |

| Ian I'll host you if you wanna just put it up without having a full fledge account... i could give you an ftp for updates but no file in that ftp would be executable (for security reasons) so u'd have to notify me to move em into the htdocs etc.
it'd be free as long as you dont go over ~2gb of width... or maybe stick 1 banner space in there or something (not porn) |
