There's somewhere around a 10ms delay between what we see and what our brain can interpret.. The thing with our brain is that everything we "see" now, in real-time, is actually a hallucination of sorts. Our brain generates what it thinks we should be seeing based on what we've just seen. Essentially, our mind is running an incredibly advanced physics simulation; aproximating the speed cars, people and bikes are moving so it can tell you where they're going to be.. Part of that is the reason a lot of people will see things out of the corner of their eyes; based on the current visual stimulation, your brain thinks that something should be moving there, but by the time you look, enough information has been processed to know that it was a false alarm. The Magic Dragon and Convex Face illusion work on the same principle; the brain sees something, and interprets it the way it's "programed" to interpret it.. in this case, as a convex, three-dimensional face instead of a concave one. This illusion is also apparently good at spotting/identifying schizophrenics, as their brain's functions for interpretation aren't working well, and they just see the illusion for what it is; a concave face instead of being interpreted as convex.

2x2=5... is stupid.
His second line does not work. He goes: X = Y / Y X * Y = Y^2 (where does the ^2 come from?)
I'm feeling booooored right now.. |
