The series was supposed to be 9 episodes. It wasn't get canceled. [ en.wikipedia.org ] If anything happens to it, it's because the sponsor (General Motors) is going bankrupt. I couldn't get through the first episode of Dollhouse, the "nest" made me think I was watching some kind of low budget sci-fi channel remake of a bad novel idea. |

The first episode of Dollhouse is OK, but it's more at the 2nd and 3rd one that things really pull you in.. The first episode just introduces you to what's going on; how the dolls work, that one went rogue and killed a bunch before escaping, that there's an FBI agent that's trying to find the dollhouse.. in the 2nd and 3rd episode, once you've got a better idea of what the dollhouse is about, they start throwing out little hints that not everything is going as planned.. some of the dolls seem to be 'remembering' each other on some level.. The first episode wasn't what hooked me; I liked the idea and figgured I'd watch to see where they take it, but after the 2nd one I was totally hooked hehe |

Remake of the 1975 BBC series, the first hour ( of the 2 hour premiere ) drags on... only cause they need to introduce all the characters. But once the flu sets in and kills everyone, it really gets going. It's in its first season. |

as for Big bang theory, a friend just advised me to watch it tonight, too :) guess i'll do, at some point ! she also showed me the first Entourage episode, which looked like fun ! 5 seasons to catch up, though... it'll be for much later :P as for Dollhouse, I'm really enjoying it now :) Thanks Fred ! Noah, what about the Breaking Bad episodes I could grab from you ? |
