Coolness: 2604095	So I got a Telus phone from ElectroTel and it won't activate... So now I have to return it and get another one which hopefully does... Why so many problems with phones... How can a phone not activate..

Coolness: 685700	well, one reason might be that cellphone providers run with the serial of the phone, so you can't use a phone that's been declared stolen.. They might do the same with phones on their network, in that you can only use an "aproved" phone..

Coolness: 2604095	They won't give you a cheap phone in the Telus shop, but after all my problems, the girl on the phone said they would ship me a phone which is guaranteed to work for 50$ so I said alright. Now I have to wait 3-5 days to get that new phone... That sucks so bad... I was like why can't I pick it up... They had no reason why not but said it's not possible since it's a promotion to you.
