Hanging by a Branch: a circus-theater fairytale Penny on the Tracks (Montréal, QC) Theatre · English · 40 mins [ www.myspace.com ] Inspired by fairytales from Afghanistan, India and Iraq, Hanging by a Branch combines acrobatics, dance, trapeze and spoken word to take the audience through an enchanting journey about the beauty and the torment of the earth. Beginning at the fringe tent, audience members are paraded to a special spot in Jeanne Mance park where circus artists await. Free, but at the end of the show we will be passing the hat asking for donations.
