Coolness: 122455	I never liked that scum and now that he ADMITED taking the 300,000$, he owes the Canadian taxpayer 2.1 million + 10 years of back interest and inflation. Suing the government for liable when you're clearly in the wrong. Awesome, politics is the best racket since child prostitution. That and he should go to jail for perjury. I have decided everytime from now on, when I vote, I shall write the word 'bullshit' across the ballot

Coolness: 57400	the government will always screw us over in some way or another. lust for power and control is what corrupts. unfortunately the people that should be in power, are the ones who would never choose to do so in the first place.

That is so true. Concentration of resources (money and power) attracts those who are primarily interested in those things. Thus, given current "human nature", the only sort of government that could possibly work is micro-government, city-states, and even then... Neighborhood-states... :-O
