1. Deal coke, hang with cool crowd. 2. Shop at American Apparel, wear V-neck, tight pants. 3. Buy more stuff from InBeat. 4. Create an alias on Stillepost, discuss indie rock and Justice. 5. Act ambiguous. 6. Get anorexic girlfriend and exploring my newfound bisexuality with electro DJs. 2 months of doing that and I should be ready to organize a successful night. |

| Coolness: 44380 | Yeah, i had a great time. The line up was three of the best DJ's in town in terms of what I'm interested in.
Personally, it's tough for me to do thursdays. I'm one bitter old man. I can't bring a crowd. Hence, weather or not I'm there is moot. You can't expect friends to show up every time. It's just the way it is. Some restraint in deflating the hype in a forum where the core support of your endeavor reads (and not the random person of the street who would make the venue packed) might not be the best course of action. All I'm saying is don't give up based one two events. You got something going that deserves a few more shots. Nothing wrong with going back to the drawing board and trying again. Good luck guys. |

| Coolness: 75750 | the thing about Thursdays is this, though... it's one of those nights where people do go out... and clubs are more likely to have Thursdays open than Fridays or Saturdays... this past Thursday there were a number of things going on (some of them were pretty cool nights that I wish I could have made it out to)... between Parking, Mix Thursdays @ Saphire, Traffic v.2 @ Zoobizarre and a Ghislain Poirier show - we were up against a bit of a wall.
At the moment though... in the words of Stunt Rock - my personal finances are a mess... and I simply can't justify throwing money at an idea every month - no matter how great I think the idea is.... perhaps we'll host some invite-only Random house parties. |
