| So I moved to Montreal about three months ago and since I got here I've eaten some pretty weird things.... for example, Quebec-style Chinese food. Let me tell you... that's not Chinese food. It's good, sort of, but bad in a whole different way. I'm used to authentic Hong Kong and Northern Chinese dishes because of where I lived in Toronto.
It got me thinking- standard fare here might be chicken balls and fried rice, but how many of you have ever eaten red bean paste? How many of crunched down on some good jellyfish?

| The wierdest thing would have to be when I went to Florida they had these giant b-b-qued Turkey legs that they called alien Legs, and in L.A they eat this Spanish donut called a Churros, but they were so fucking good I got addicted and spent all my money on Churros in L.A, lol |

| Oshinko, umeshiso and sea urchin rolls. The first one tastes like farts, the second one smells and tastes like the depths of hell, and the third one really smells and tastes like the bottom of a sewer. To be found in a sushi bar close to you.
PS: the waiter said they're quite popular in Japan. Another proof that they like shit in every way. |

| the weirdest thing i've ever eaten, but love is sea urchin roe, staight up. I used to pick them in the ocean with my family in the states, and feast on like 80 of them for supper. Thats some yummy stuff i tell u!!
and the weirdest thing i've ever eaten is La Tripa, which is the inside walls of a cows stomach simmered in a tomato sauce and u eat it with bread. Once my nonna(grand ma) was making it and i thought it was some type of mush, it tasted funky, then she told me what it was and i spit it the fuck out. Italins eats weird shit like cow tongue and brains. |
