hey anyone know some neat VSTs?

I already have a couple but I'm still looking for more so any good suggestions are welcome...

I would also like to know if there's a Access Virus VST (or something really close)

Just get SynthEdit and make your own synths.

If you want some really neato effects, look up Buffer Overddrive. Its a free plug that attempts to overfill your sound card buffers, then trap that sound and feed it back to the signal. Its really fucked up.

It's called Buffer Override

available at [ www.smartelectronix.com ]

If you set midi knobs to the x and y axis in it and jam them out it sounds fucking incredible, if you make IDM or any kind of music that needs severe tweaked sounds it's an amazing plugin

exactly.. you can either run the reason tracks directly through cubase and monitor them through a vst, while recording the effect's automation,
Or you could export a reason song into various tracks such as.. 1 track percussion, another track samples, bassline, synths .. etc.. and apply the effects as needed~

reason w/ rewire into cubase is a good setup.

Fruityloops is like cubase's retarded cousin, I wouldn't use that program as the rewire host, but as a rewire slave it would be pretty happening...
