Fresh off a standout performance at Ärder earlier this year, Akua steps back into our space with the unmistakable machine-funk force that has cemented her as one of North America’s most singular techno voices. Her sets channel the rebellious lineage of Detroit, Chicago, and NYC. Making his Ärder debut, Sorcery (LIVE) — fresh off his acclaimed Society Hardware performance — delivers a full-body experimental ritual built from acoustic-electronic interaction, visceral drumming, and the boundary-pushing ferocity that defines his work with artists like Kangding Ray, Dadub, and Belief Defect. Asha brings her bass-heavy, percussion-driven sound shaped by her Caribbean roots and her work with Montréal’s Ether collective, weaving polyrhythms that travel far beyond genre lines. And Montréal’s own PRML ignites the room with instinct-led energy, a primal, direct, unmistakably local pulse.
