| Description: | Independent DIY festivals occupy a shrinking space in an ecosystem dominated by the likes of Superstruct and Live Nation. They remain rare instances where programming, scale, and atmosphere are built around community, which ultimately is what sustains them. The Nova Scotian town of Petite Rivière is home to Body Language, the Exploria crew's yearly weekender. Approaching its fifth edition, the festival has become a gathering point for artists and dancers from across Canada, featuring diverse lineups that explore various corners of alternative dance music.
