| Description: | This Friday, we do what we do best. For this special edition, we spotlight the Blue Devil — a figure born from the rich carnival traditions of Trinidad & Tobago, embodying power, rebellion, and liberation. Ahead lies a night charged with range, depth, and high-octane energy. We’re thrilled to welcome NYC’s techno savant AceMo for his first-ever Moonshine appearance, alongside LA’s own Mr. “Ambiance Guarantee” — Foreigner. The evening also features a screening of Water Devil, an experimental short film by Walt Lovelace, produced by the Caribbean Film Festival. Completing the lineup: Playgrl 2000 makes her Moonshine debut, Jokege keeps the Afro energy alive, San Farafina anchors the Moonshine sound, and Pony returns to the mic to reclaim his crown. All that’s left is you. Your energy, your grace and your propensity to live in the moment. To leave all genre expectations at the door and walk into a world without borders. This Friday we celebrate Halloween, using the Carnival ethos of rebellion, resistance and liberation to guide the energy of the night. This is the Blue Devil edition. We encourage you to dress in ways that nod to the carnival ethos of freedom, resistance, and power. That could look like blue costumes, painted skin, devilish details — anything that channels the spirit of the Blue Devil, or draws inspiration from the rich world of carnival. Costumes aren’t required, but if you do show up dressed — on theme or not — the BEST LOOKS of the night will be rewarded with a little token of our love. *Please arrive early to avoid a queue.* |
