| Info: | Doc's Comments The first and best event thrown under the Strongpoint moniker. We'd just settled down into our home at the time - Spirit nightclub (which would later become Illusions for a period and is now an empty shell), and i must say that venue was amazing. Two rooms, chill areas, clean, downtown. It was everything we wanted in a venue. At the time I didn't really know exactly how to put together a very sane lineup but I lucked out and the crowd showed up. This was the first and one of the only times I've ever gone off to D&B / Breaks - Maus, Illfingas and D-Monic were simply amazing. It makes me cry to know Maus is now locked up with Aria and won't do anything without getting massive bucks, which unfortunately I can't financially justify with her draw right now. The event was listed as a benefit to replace VH3's jungle records which had been stolen a month or two before. I can remember vividly the conversation we had at the end of the party as to how much money he needed, but for the life of me I don't remember how much we gave him. I remember he didn't want to make a big deal of it. In the end, I'm glad he ended up sticking with Trance anyways! |
