DESCRIPTION:THE FRIENDLY RICH SHOW is travelling to Montreal this Monday July 24th for a 6-day run at Theatre Ste. Catherine.  Do not miss this odd musical variety show and cabaret extravaganza!!! With his 10-piece vaudevillian orchestra The Lollipop People\, composer Friendly Rich will be joined by the tyrannical stage manager SOOT\, and his travelling egg circus.\n\nThis uncomfortable live show features old time cartoons\, storytelling\, puppetry\, robots\, crank calls\, barrel organs\, Eucharist\, SOOT's Frying Egg Circus\, and over an hour's worth of deranged live tunes performed by The Lollipop People... Take your illegitimate children to a show with guts\, molasses\, fried liver n’ onions.\n\nHaving just released his 6th studio recording\, We Need a New F-Word\, Friendly Rich and his orchestra The Lollipop People will perform songs from the new recording\, as they gear up to tour Europe later this year.\n\nThe music deals with strange themes\, such as bread baking\, cancer\, rotten fruit\, and even an upbeat dedication ballad to the Italian-Canadian boxing legend George Chuvalo. The Friendly Rich Show will invite special guest artists to open each night\, featuring Scant Intone and Nadja for this show.
