In\n2001 we converged in Quebec to rise up agains the « Free exploitation »\nArea of the Americas.  We've seen protests escalate throughout the\nhemisphere from summit to summit\, in the streets\, on the faces of our\npartners in struggle all around the world\; there have been countless\ndemos... years have flown by and the FTAA has been stopped in its tracks\,\nbut not yet defeated.\n\nWe are lucid\; we know that the world is a mess. We've inhaled the tear gas\n– we know what police repression and oppressive surveillance are.  We have\ncome to understand the realities of a police state\, we have seen this\nthrough eyes clouded with tears and laughter: it is there\, the\ntotalitarian vision of the New World Order – the world that is\, the world\nthat will be\; the world that we reject.\n\nWe are lucid\, and we are in revolt.\n\nThe FTAA is nothing on its own – the FTAA is a symbol.  It is a symbol of\ncapitalism\, of ecocide\, patriarchy\, destruction\, repression and servitude.\nThese are the very symbols that we want to crush\, and it's in the\nreappropriation of our streets  - in the tradition of mass popular\ndisobedience – that we hope to express our dreams with a BANG!\n\nAnd so we call for a monster demonstration\, an explosion of our rebel art\non the pavement – we call on the solidarity of the people – before its too\nlate\, before the dust covers us all.   This 4th and 5th of  November we\nwill be in the streets\, and our cry will resonate through the office\nbuildings\, with echoes that will make the sky-scrapers and their\nbusinesspeople tremble. Spread the word! In November\, we will flood the\nstreets with the power of our creative rebellion.\n\nThe pavement is not only a place for the circulation of merchandise and\nthe wage-slaves: it is also the place for us to get together and create\,\nshout\, juggle\, sing\, laugh and chant!  The retaking of this collective\nspace merits a celebration - an outburst – since this occasion is only\nmade possible  by our collective will of reappropriation.\n\nThis is a masked rendez-vous at SQUARE DORCHESTER at 4PM on NOVEMBER 4TH\,\narmend with your musical instruments\, pots and pans\, paint\, etc. Plan your\nstreet theatre skits\, circus acts\, muscial improvisations\, etc. Time to\nparty: disobey the FTAA!\n\n\n***************************************************************************\n\n ** * Nous comptons sur vous pour diffuser largement ***\n\n\nPendant qu'à Mar del Plata\, ils privatiseront le continent\,\nnous nous réapproprions l'espace public\n\n\n CARNAVAL DE RUE\n 4 novembre 2005\n et masse critique (rassemblement de vélos) pour ouvrir le carnaval\n Rendez-vous 16h Square Dorchester (métro Peel)\n\n\n\nNous avions 5 ans pour observer le déroulement des négociations de la Zone\nde Libre Exploitation des Amériques et l'escalade des protestations. De\nsommet en sommet\, dans nos rues\, sur le visage de nos camarades de partout\nau monde\, jusqu'aux manifestations sans nombre\, jusqu'à ce que les années\nfilent depuis leSommet de Québec...\n\nNous sommes lucides. Nous savons que le monde va mal. Nous avons respiré les\nlacrymaux. Nous savons la police\, la répression\, la surveillance. Les traits\nd'un Etat Prison se dessinent dans la réalité\, à nos yeux brouillés par les\nrires et les larmes : le voilà\, le paysage totalitaire du Nouvel Ordre\nMondial : le monde qui est\, le monde qui sera. Le monde que nous refusons.\n\nNous sommes lucides\, et nous sommes révoltéEs.\n\nLa ZLEA n'est rien en soi. La ZLEA est un symbole. Symbole du capitalisme\,\nsymbole de l'écocide\, symbole du patriarcat\, symbole de la destruction\, de\nla domestication\, de la servitude. Ce sont ces symboles que nous voulons\nenterrer et c'est en se réapproriant nos rues dans la tradition des fêtes\npopulaires indisciplinée que nous voulons\, pour cet automne\, projeter nos\nrêves avec fracas.\n\nNous appelons donc à une mobilisation monstre\, à l'explosion de nos arts\nrévoltés sur le béton\, nous appelons à la solidarité des peuples\, - avant\nqu'il ne soit trop tard\, avant que la poussière nous recouvre . Le 4 et 5\nnovembre prochain\, nous serons là\, et la force de notre cri résonnera à\ntravers les édifices blindés. Nous innonderons les rues avec toute la\npuissance de notre insoumission créative !\n\nLa voie asphaltée n'est pas que le lieu de circulation des marchandises :\nc'est aussi l'endroit où nous pouvons nous réunir pour créer\, crier\,\njongler\, chanter \, rire et chanter … ! La reprise de cet espace collectif\nmérite une fête\, un déFOULEment\, un hymne à la réappropriation collective\ncontre la privatisation du continent !\n\n\n C'est un rendez-vous déguisé au SQUARE DORCHESTER \,\n 16 H\, le 4 NOVEMBRE\,\n arméEs de musiques\, casseroles\, pots de peinture\, chaises\, décorations\,\netc. Organisez vos sketchs théâtraux\, arts du cirque\, contingents musicaux\n...\n\n\n la réappropriation collective contre la privatisation du continent !
