DESCRIPTION:The Montreal show is the tenth of 15 dates on the band’s full scale Canadian tour\, which is scheduled to wrap up in St. John’s\, Newfoundland on September 24th.  \n\n"We’ve been chomping at the bit to do an exclusive and extensive tour of Canada and are psyched to finally be doing it this September\," says Pearl Jam guitarist Stone Gossard. \n\nPearl Jam’s Canadian Tour marks the band’s first concert dates since the Vote for Change Tour in fall of 2004\, and their first performances in Canada since the band’s shows in Vancouver\, Toronto and Montreal on the 2003 Riot Act Tour. Pearl Jam is currently in the studio working on their eighth studio album\, which is tentatively scheduled for release in the fall of 2005.\n\n2005 marks the band’s 15th year together. To date\, they have sold over 65 million records worldwide\, and received countless awards and accolades.  The Grammy Award winning band has released seven studio albums\, a greatest hits album\, a double disc b-sides album and hundreds of live bootlegs.
