DESCRIPTION:July 1st\, 2005\, 7en proudly presents its annual Canada Day electronic music festival\, featuring: \n\nBad Boy Bill \nSeb Fontaine \nSteve Porter \nSteve Smooth \nMartinVilleneuve \nBrad Copeland \n\nWith \n\nAkash Sinha \nBalu \nMister Parker \n\nParty gets started at 9pm at Capital Music Hall (200 Rideau). This is the FIRST time an electronic music event is held there\, and we’re extremely excited to use the venue. Big sound\, big lights\, and a big dance floor. \n\nThat portion of the show features: Bad Boy Bill (1:30am-3:00am)\, Seb Fontaine (11:30am-1:00am)\, as well as Steve Smooth\, Martin Villeneuve\, and Brad Copeland. \n\nBill is obviously a juggernaut in the electronic music industry\, and was 2003’s BPM dj of the year. He’s also a 3 time DMC champion\, and a legend in the business. \n\nSeb Fontaine might have played one of the best sets all time at Scream (Surface) on Halloween\, and is one of Europe’s biggest djs. He’s held residencies with Cream and Ministry of Sound\, and was a radio one favorite. \n\nSteve Smooth is touring with Bill\, and you won’t forget his name after you hear him play. He’s one of the most underrated dj’s in North America. As for Martin Villeneuve and Brad Copeland\, they’re two of the most successful homegrown talents we’ve ever had\; both accomplished djs and producers. Last year they played incredible sets at Believe\, and we’re very happy to have them playing again this year. \n\nThis portion of the event will go till 3am\, and is 19+. \n\n\nThe after party for this is at Surface Nightclub\,and will go till 8am. Yes\, 8am :! \n\nIt features: \n\nSteve Porter \n\nBrad Copeland \nMartin Villeneuve \nMister Parker \nAkash Sinha \nBalu \n\nSteve Porter is one the hottest young dj/producers in North America right now\, and might be one of the biggest draws in our city after destroying the decks at Surface this past year. \n\nWe are currently in negotiations to have a trance room for the after party\, and we will post details on this as they become available. \n\n\nSurface is located at 128 York\, in the market (beside On Tap). 19+ with valid ID. \n\n\nTicket info: \n\nAdvance tickets for the Capital City event will be: \n\n30$ early bird\, 35$ advance. \nThis grants you entrance to the main event only. \n\nCombo tickets for both the main event and the after party (11 hours of partying\, 4 headliners) Are 50$. \n\nTickets for the main event will be 40$ at the door. We’ll also be giving away a few hundred cd’s at the door of the event for those who come early. \n\nCombo tickets for both events will also be sold at the door to the main event. \n\nAdvance tickets will not be sold for the Surface event\, which begins at 3am.
