DESCRIPTION:For the damned who asked for more: the wicked always answer. Kadera and Sticky Rice Magazine are serving a most decadent raverie with Dead Still Dance—a Latin-Asian-born affair bringing folklore to flesh\, ghosts to the dancefloor\, and bodies to their edge.\n\nThe siren song calls. The pulse is carnal. Fevered. Otherworldly. The dance? It runs blood-deep. Don’t keep the dead waiting.\n\nDJ sets by Sewa Choki\, Gulod Tanawin (hybrid)\, Wilhelmina\, Jashim (hybrid)\, con secuencias\, Teykirisi\, UME Pole Dance by Aiko & Lychee Storm\, Ángel Living Installation by kimura byol lemoine with lan\n\nVideo Art by xexe\n\nTV Horror Installation by skeletron\n\nFood Pop-Up by Nanikxhé Tasty Nacks by Lluvia\n\nCostume contest at midnight (optional dress code)\n\nWe invite attendees to engage with cultural traditions\, stories\, symbols\, practices\, and forms of expression with care and respect for both the joys and struggles woven through lived histories\, and to refrain from cultural appropriation or the disrespectful use of cultural elements. We are committed to cultivating a caring and respectful participatory space. Harassment and discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the space.
