DESCRIPTION:halloween.\nwe’ve always had a love/hate thang with all hallows' eve.\n\nyes\, its a great night for a party.\nbut its often all a bit too bombastic\, for our tastes at least.\n\nwe like parties about music. and dancing. and people.\nnever needed much on top of that\, eh?\n\nbut as seasons flip here in montreal\, we’re gonna enter the fray. just a lil’ bit. for funsies. this one will be a (relatively) normal ferias ’til sunrise party\, just on halloween.\n\nyes\, feel free to dress up + celebrate if you so desire.\nno\, you most definitely do not need to wear a costume.\nor do anything halloween-y whatsoever.\ndo whateva ya want.\nbe comfortable.\nhave fun.\n\nwe’ll have sweet lights + the disco ball + a big soundsystem.\nwe 100% will not have skeletons or spider webs or whatever.\n\nwe’ll have a sunrise.\nthrough wrap-around windows\,\ndown by the water.\n\n++ most importantly\, we’ll have one of our long-time dream bookings playing music for hours…\n\nscott grooves. detroit’s humble hero. an unsung but quietly revered pioneer\, no matter which way you slice it. a real-life artist. a painter\, a thinker\, a word-smith\, and one of the most masterful music heads the world has ever know.\n\nthose who know\, really know. not much we need to say for the rest of ya\, but here’s a lil context : if ya tally up allll the records that have been played at ferias parties over the years\, sg trax would easily take the cake. maybe maurice fulton would be semi-close. +then everyone else\, wwaayy behind. his catalog is simple immense. ask any deejay worth a penny about him\, they can tell ya the rest.\n\non the montreal tip\, we’ve got ferias family lia plutonic and terrell playing together for the first few hours. some soul + some jack to set us in motion.\n\nalina + guthrie at the wheel for the sunrise strech.\n\nokie dokie\, thats that.\na ferias halloween.\nsaturday\, october 31st\n10pm ’til ??
