DESCRIPTION:Club Sagacité x Breakglass: 4-Week Production Workshop\n\nClub Sagacité and Breakglass presents a four-week music production workshop series designed to give emerging artists a practical foundation in electronic music production using Ableton Live. The series is open to participants of all experience levels and focuses on hands-on learning\, creative experimentation\, and building confidence through a supportive community environment.\n\nAcross four sessions\, participants will develop a track from its initial ideas through to refinement and feedback:\n\n(Aug 19th) Week 1 — Rhythm Lab: Drum Programming & Sampling with Martyn Bootyspoon\nExplore the foundations of rhythm through drum programming\, groove\, and sampling. Participants will learn how to build drum patterns\, experiment with timing and swing\, work with drum racks\, and transform samples into original rhythmic ideas.\n\n(Aug 26th) Week 2 — Harmony Lab: Melody & Bass with Ultima Esuna\nBuild on the rhythmic foundation by exploring melody\, bass\, and harmony. Participants will experiment with melodic ideas\, basslines\, chord progressions\, and sound selection while learning how these elements work together to shape the emotion and identity of a track.\n\n(Sept 6th) Week 3 — Motion Lab: FX\, Automation & Arrangement with Jordan Gardner\nLearn how to move beyond loops and develop a more complete and dynamic track. Participants will explore arrangement\, transitions\, effects\, and creative changes that can shape the energy and flow of a piece of music.\n\n(Sept 9th) Week 4 — Listening Session & Mixing Tips with Lunice\, Pierre Kwenders & James Benjamin\nThe final session focuses on refining and completing projects. Participants will explore the fundamentals of mixing\, learn how to better balance and shape the elements of their tracks\, and receive constructive feedback on their work.\n\nThe series is designed to be accessible\, practical\, and community-focused\, giving participants the opportunity to learn directly from experienced artists and producers while developing their own creative voice. All four workshops are offered free with RSVP. Club Sagacité members prioritized.\n\nWORKSHOP REGISTRATION CLOSES AUGUST 22ND 2026\n\n-\n\nThis series is presented as a part of BG20\, a season of special collaborations celebrating 20 years of Breakglass Studios.
