DESCRIPTION:ANOMA RECORDS × ESC PRESENT \nTHE ANNUAL GATHERING\n\nEvery year\, we do this\, Where the night meets the day.\n\nAs the city begins to wind down\, we head in the opposite direction - gathering in the early hours of Sunday and letting the music carry us all the way through sunrise\, morning and into the afternoon.\n\nThe Annual Gathering is a yearly meeting point between friends\, longtime Montréal selectors and artists coming from further afield - an extended session where there is finally enough time to let the music breathe.\n\nThis year\, we're especially excited to welcome Salar Ansari\, joining us from Detroit.\nOriginally from Tehran\, Salar emerged from Iran's underground electronic scene before becoming a co-founder of Analog Room\, a platform that helped connect the region's electronic community with the wider world. Now based in Detroit\, he continues to move between DJing\, production\, sound engineering and education\, bringing together techno\, house\, broken rhythms and Persian musical influences. His work has taken him well beyond the club\, but the dancefloor remains at the center of what he does. \n\nSTRETCH comes into the gathering with a deep instinct for the long-form set. His place in this lineup is about patience\, groove and knowing when to push\,  music that can sit comfortably at 5AM and still make perfect sense when the sun is high. This is the kind of gathering where a selector like Stretch gets the room to really unfold.\n\nRUSLAN brings another perspective to the journey\, with a taste for records that keep the floor moving without giving everything away too quickly. Expect a set built around rhythm\, atmosphere and those unexpected moments that make an extended Sunday session worth staying for.\n\nThen there's AKUFEN\; one of Montréal's most important and recognizable electronic voices. His microscopic approach to sampling and rhythm has influenced generations of producers and listeners\, creating a sound that is unmistakably his own. There are few better people to have in the room when the clock stops mattering.\n\nMIGHTYKAT has been part of Montréal's electronic music fabric for more than two decades. From the city's after-hours circuit to international dancefloors\, she has developed a signature style built around house\, disco\, soul\, jazz and the funkier side of techno. Her selections are sophisticated without ever losing sight of the reason we're all there: to dance.\n \nJOE TAGESSIAN brings his own deep knowledge of the Montréal dancefloor to the gathering. A selector's approach grounded in curiosity\, quality records and the ability to read a room. In a lineup built for a long journey\, Joe is exactly the kind of DJ you want in the mix.\n\nAnd of course\, OHM HOURANI\, co-host of the gathering and one of the driving forces behind Anoma Records.
