Always expect diasporic and experimental music that transports you to unexpected places.\n\nFence Hop is a community-centered event and artist collective that creates inclusive\, DIY gatherings in unconventional spaces. Organized through a "Do It Together" ethos\, Fence Hop relies on volunteers\, artists\, and DJs who donate their time to keep events accessible through a pay-what-you-can model.\n\nAttendees are encouraged to look out for themselves and their guests\, seek support from crew members when needed\, and respect the event space by arriving discreetly. This is an outdoor renegade rave so police can cut this party short at any time. Make sure to dress accordingly (including bug spray) & see you very soon\n____________________\n\nBased in Tiohtià:ke/Montreal\, Fence Hop and No Sugar acknowledge that their events take place on the unceded traditional territory of the Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) Nation\, a historic gathering place for many Indigenous peoples\, including the Haudenosaunee Confederacy\, Huron-Wendat\, Abenaki\, and Anishinaabeg. The collectives recognize the Kanien'kehá:ka as custodians of the land and water.
